THE 2008 RALLY

The 2008 rally will be held, as usual, on the first weekend in July, the 5th & 6th.

The gates open at 9:00am on both days and close at 6:00pm on Saturday and 4:00pm on Sunday.

What's On...

Main exhibits include:
Vintage traction engines
Miniature steam
Stationary engines
Tractors
Classic cars
Motor cycles
Bygones & Models
Military & Commercial
  Vehicles.
Organs

In addition to these there will be a variety of attractions to suit all ages.

Events in the main ring include:
Medieval jousting
Ferret racing
Falconry
“over the top” bikes.
Clay pigeon shooting

Tractor pullers will be operating throughout both days.

For children there will be:
Quad bikes,
Donkey rides
and lots more....

There will be a fairground with dodgems and varied other stalls.

The large trade stand section will sell a variety of goods and the craft tent will house crafts and giftware for purchase as well as the model section.

A working area with a number of traditional crafts such as thatching and wood cutting and working Shire Horses will also be found at the rally.

Sustenance & Facilities...

To sustain the visitor there will be a varied selection of catering stands offering a variety of different foods. There will also be a beer tent which will operate all day.

Our toilet facilities are noted as being the “best in the west”, and include disabled facilities.
